Soul mates are not necessarily born in the same families.Nor are they,as a rule,life partners. They are someone you cross paths with unexpectedly,and probably late in life. They may have crossed your path earlier,but it may take the right moment to recognise them. 
I found my soul mate,outside school,we were waiting for our respective kids.
We both are married,to other people,we both have kids,we don’t live under the same roof,nor share the same surname and yet what we share,is something so precious,very few are blessed to find.

We share everything,everything small and big,our highs,our lows,our pains our joys,jokes and sarcasm,anything silly frivalous or important,the rain,to food to wine and beer,music(we even have our own song!!!)to sanity and insanity,to victories and failures,to just about everything. 

We know exactly what the other is thinking,across a room full of people, and we share a look,exactly at that one moment,and we needn’t even speak. We’ll crack the same one liners,at the same moment. Not only will the same thought occur to us at exactly the same time,but we will also voice it together. We complete, sentences each other’s sentences,not just verbally but even on texts.And yet,we are absolutely comfortable in each other’s silence. 

We have similar likes,dislikes,sharp tongues and strong minds,and values,even though we may excute them differently. We laugh together,we laugh at eachother,and at ourselves,the loudest,and it doesn’t offend us.We stand by eachother unconditionally,do not judge eachother,and would fight to protect eachother every single time.

I can’t even remember if we ever fought in all these years. May be once.Yes we disagree,we argue,we discuss,we advice each other and  reprimand too,but it is nothing we can’t or haven’t resolved.

We met more than 10yrs ago…and have stood the test of time…..even when the physical distance,was over oceans and miles,we were Always together.

Obviously our connect runs far deeper than time and space.

This relationship is for ever and We don’t doubt it one bit. 

We love and respect eachother,we correct eachother,we compliment eachother. We are each others better and worst half! We complete eachother.

Yes,we are not tied together by blood or wedding wows. But we are tied together by our mind,our heart,and soul.

If this isn’t a soul mate,I don’t know what is.
