Residue of things that once were.

This is enough body wash to last for 2 showers if I’m liberal and 3 if I’m stringent. Obviously the gen ex had no idea what all, little, can do.
They’ve never flattened a toothpaste with a rolling pin.
They’ve never worn hands down clothes(my friends and me still do it)
They ve never ever wiped the residual oil in a sabzi ka bartan with rice and had a satisfying morsel.( my mom and me do that all the time)
They’ve not run a finger in the insides of a just devoured pack of chips and licked the salt.
They’ve never bought a new tee, worn it till it’s worth wearing only as a night shirt,(yes this they have) but then progressed to using it as a mop and then a kitchen rag.
They haven’t tried unscrewing a perfume bottle to get the last bits of scent on them.
. They have never had the edge of the sandwich that kids left behind.

And They’ve never licked a finger with baby food after wiping an infants mouth.
They will never know the joys that lie in residue of things that once were nA?

  1. Yeah I totally agree with you, btw by eating my child’s leftover am putting on weight 😂😂 because of this lockdown can’t go out with him as he has to make sure that everything is okay by touching it 😒😒 , also it’s difficult to catch with his energy levels

  2. Absolutely, small little pleasures of life and this has nothing to do with the affordability..and I will continue to do all of the above and more no matter what anyone tells me.. especially adding achaar and chawal to residual oil and clean wiping it all out☺️
