CHILL!!!!!! 

I hate this word!!!!I’ll tell you why.                               It’s condescending almost. It’s a short form for “Dont bore me. I know better,you are hyperventilating,over reacting and being melodramatic,and it’s not a big deal,so,”CHILL!!!”

I hear it a lot. Wether it’s regarding the boys reports,or the shoots disasters,or the general inefficiency,or the fire inside me that comes from my emotions or acidity.If it was the later diegen probably would have helped,but it’s not.And what exactly do you think I am? Frozen peas?

It’s much easier said than done from the Alps.

Everyone is different and I am no exception.There are some people who have no reaction what so ever. They are frozen!

But I,am the exact opposite.I’m not a body in the morgue. I am alive,I feel,I express.And I am animated. Not the little mermaid or Cinderella kind and I am definitely not the “Frozen” kind. I am one in a “Minion.” 

One of the first things I was told when I started acting was “You have a very mobile face.” I didn’t get it then. Kept wondering if my face was moving to another continent. But I gathered it was a compliment for being expressive. And that’s what I do,I feel and I express. No rocket science there.Acting is my job not my way of life.And even that I can’t do without feeling.Things affect me,they matter to me,and so I react.

I taught my kids not to steal. When I did that,I meant don’t steal my lines too.,or my words!!!”CHILL!!!” Was my copyright.And my “chill-ran” away when I had children. 

So Don’t say”The staff comes,the staff leaves!!!chill. Ya exactly like my temper or the “chillie” in the food,but we can handle that can’t we,even if we are not Chileans.

And to make it worse is another term. “Calm down.”

Now together,these two words can be a lethal combination….. Lethal for whoever says it to me.

Calm down??? Like,really???

Are you giving me a massage or morphine,that I can calm down. I may be as evolved,but my middle name isn’t exactly Dalai Lama.

Chill!!! Seems to be the new mantra.

What makes you think,your one word is actually gonna subside the fire,Deep freezer??? 

And to think of it,everyone who suggests I chill,is constantly complaining of my air-conditioner being on minus 16.

And I would have chilled,had you not said it. I was just about to,but the reminder has only extended the process and aggravated the fire.

 Beers are to be chilled not me! I am not a polar bear!

So Deal with it. And if you can’t, you are most welcome to rest your ice cold attitude,in a barrel of dry ice.

Or take a walk to the artic pole,salami.

Go freeze.
