Sound of music
My knowledge in music is kind of ancient, prehistoric.Definitely somewhere around the “Jurassic Park” time. And I’m not ashamed or embarrassed of it.It’s just what I like. No, doesn’t mean I don’t listen to today’s-cuss words, no melody, just noise so called music. I do. I have no option. My kids are avid music lovers and they listen to all kinds of music. (Not hindi.) I can’t take away from the fact that a lot of the English music I like has come from them. But not all. Just because I love them doesn’t mean I have to love what they love and vice versa.I love hindi music. I love instrumental, and I love songs which apeal to me and my sensibilities. And I am unapologetic about it.
Certain songs just ring true. I identify with. Which seem relatable to people, relationships and situations in my life. Guess that’s why they stick forever.
These are some of the songs from my play list, and what they mean to me.
